This step is necessary so that you have a completely flat surface ready to bond your tiles to.

Your wall doesn’t need to be dry for CT1 to bond to tiles, as it’s effective in wet or dry conditions. But it is advised to clean the area of any dust, dirt, or residue first. Then, apply a thick layer of CT1 to the back of your tile and press it into position. Firmly press the tile down until it’s flush with the existing tiles and place spacers between the tiles to ensure an even tile placement. This will help you get a professional-looking finish when sealed.

How to seal tiles using CT1

Once all of your tiles are in place, you can use CT1 to finish the job. Grouting is often a poor choice for tiles as it wears out over time. However, CT1 is a flexible, waterproof solution that’s just as easy to apply.

Cut a small, 45-degree hole at the end of the CT1 application nozzle and start applying it as you would with grouting. Take a wet finger or use a damp cloth to press the CT1 into the crease and leave to cure. Now, your bathroom will have a great new look that’s more durable.
