These City & Guilds Diploma courses in Construction Skills are open to Britain’s former military service personnel and covers key information and training on Health & Safety, Tiling, Plumbing, Plastering, Painting & Decorating, Carpentry, Joinery and Brickwork. On competition of the course each participant obtains the CSCS Card necessary to gain employment on construction sites.

Delivering Success – Product Master Classes
At training and education centres across the country Building Heroes deliver a range of construction courses designed to provide essential training and qualifications, along with employability and digital skills and support into employment. In support of this initiative CT1 and Wickes TradePro have combined forces to provide practical,
interactive product centred presentations and advice to trainees on the courses. These events focused on the best sealants and adhesives currently available and provided hands on training on how and where to use them.
Practical Demonstrations
Participants on the courses were initially given demonstrations on the uses, features and benefits of CT1’s full wider range of sealants and adhesives that deliver solutions every sector of the construction industry. This includes roofing contractors, joiners, window suppliers, kitchen fitters, bathroom installers, as well as specialist fit out and building companies.

That’s why the demonstrations are followed up with invitations for the participants to test the products, bonding them to a variety of materials in variation applications.
