Apply BT1 bathroom sealant

When you’ve successfully removed the old bathroom sealant, you’re ready to apply the BT1 sealant. You’ll need to cut the nozzle to the desired diameter before application. Apply the sealant around the top edge of the sink to create a clean line. You can also use BT1 to seal around the taps/faucets if required. If you have trouble creating a straight line where required, you can use painter’s tape or masking tape next to the sink to help guide you when applying the sealant. Make sure that there are no gaps in the finished bead. If you notice any, re-apply some more sealant to the area.

Smooth out the sealant

After you’ve sealed around the bathroom sink and faucets, it’s time to finish the seal. Again, you can use Multisolve to help with this. You can then use a tool for caulk tooling or even your finer. All you have to do is glide it over the sealant you just applied to help smooth it out to achieve a professional finish. Once the sealant has cured, the sink has been successfully sealed and is ready for normal use.
